Chase and Holland specialise in the recruitment of Finance and HR staff. The 2 founding Directors have over 15 years experience in specialist recruitment and have a team that have also worked within the industry. Our portfolio of clients varies from FTSE 100 organisations to small and medium sized enterprises. We are currently recruiting for a number of businesses that are looking for qualified candidates (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or CIPD) across a number of sectors.

Established Chartered Accountants based in North Nottinghamshire seek hard working knowledgeable Senior to join existing team. This is a role that will see you bringing on board your existing client accounting/audit knowledge with a view to being able to develop your skills and learning with an employer that very much values its staff.

This role has a dual focus - initially you will have responsibility on a day to day basis for an exclusive portfolio of businesses with turnovers of up to around £5m. Their accounts need to be completed accurately and on time. In order for you to provide the highest level of service and to be able to understand your clients' needs you will be expected to spend time on their site on a regular basis.

The second part of the role will see you spending a significant proportion of your time leading and carrying out audits. This will obviously require you to have a full driving license (car package potentially available) and will see you travelling to client sites throughout Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and South Yorkshire (with a couple of clients further afield). The audits may be carried out either on a sole basis or occasionally you will take junior staff with you to assist.

This is a role requiring proven practical knowledge in both client accounting and audit. As already mentioned you will be comfortable in spending time on client sites (potentially more often that you are office based.)

It is envisaged that you will be either qualified or heading towards the final stages of your professional qualifications. This next career move for you will be important and you will looking to settle with a reputable and forward thinking firm.
