Full Job Description

As a prestigious and reputable organisation we are looking for an experienced Financial Controller/ Accountant to work along side a keen group of people. This is a role that will see play an important part of the management team. Although you will not have direct responsibility for staff you will be expected to participate in the development of the Financial structure.

Having responsibility for your own region, you will have full involvement in the day to day production of both the financial and management accounts. Specific tasks (not an exhaustive list) will include production of the P&L and Balance Sheet, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, fixed asset maintenance to name but a few.

This is a role that will also see you get involved in grant work and liaising with various senior decision makers throughout the organisation.

If you are interested in the role you will need to be a qualified accountant (CIPFA, ACA, CIMA, ACCA) and come from either a medium/large company or industry background. You will also be a problem solver with good knowledge of IT and systems.
