Plumbing Buyer Enfield

Do you have a wealth of knowledge of the plumbing industry? Have you worked within a wholesale environment, dealing with plumbing and heating supplies? Do you have the determination and flare needed to be successful in a procurement role? If so please read on and apply right away!


My client company is extremely well respected within the construction industry, they are an integrated set of construction companies that together encompass the whole of the construction process from inception to completion and maintenance. They are currently seeking an experienced Plumbing buyer.

They currently require an experienced Buyer with a great wealth of experience in buying plumbing materials and working within the plumbing trade. The reason for this is that you must be focused on the wholesale purchase of all plumbing goods for building and maintenance purposes.
You will be processing orders, obtaining plumbing quotations from wholesalers and liaising with site staff with regards to materials required. You must ensure that effective cost management is achieved whilst preparing and placing orders in line with Business requirements.
You will also manage and close out tender and contract negotiations.
Your aim will be to develop an ongoing supply chain strategy to reduce cost and risk and on a daily basis, measure and manage the supply chain performance.

You must have a sound knowledge of Plumbing equipment; supply chains and specialist subcontractors gained ideally in a wholesale environment.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following competencies:
