This leading Mechanical / Electrical Contractor has recently won a number of prestigious projects and now seeks a talented HVAC / Mechanical Project Engineer to join their thriving team. The successful candidate will be working in a friendly team based working environment with excellent career opportunities.

Role:
The Mechanical Project Engineer will be responsible for;

• This responsibility begins with the award of contract, and ends with the contract final handover. Managing a Mechanical package working on the design development and procurement schedules.
• Moving on to site, you will deliver the Mechanical package to deadlines and specifications.
• Manage on onsite mechanical contractors.
• Attend design team meetings.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning process and deal with technical issues.
• Health & safety
• Purchasing all materials, equipment and sub-contractors
• Liaison internally with designers, estimators, CAD technicians, Project Engineers

The prime responsibility of the Mechanical Project Engineer is to ensure each of his/her projects is run professionally, efficiently, and profitably.

Experience & Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have an ONC / HNC Mechanical Engineering together with Mechanical and Electrical practical experience and the ability to manage medium sized to large projects. Applicants will need excellent experience and knowledge of HVAC installation on large building projects, have sound building services background, computer literate and be commercially astute.
