Full Job Description

Chase and Holland specialise in the recruitment of Finance and HR staff. The 2 founding Directors have over 15 years experience in specialist recruitment and have a team that have also worked within the industry. Our portfolio of clients varies from FTSE 100 organisations to small and medium sized enterprises. We are currently recruiting for a number of businesses that are looking for qualified candidates (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or CIPD) across a number of sectors.

Our client is a privately owned group who having been growing rapidly and are now looking at the management structure and professional expertise that is required for them to continue to develop and grow. Due to this we are looking for a dynamic and driven Financial Controller to join the business reporting directly to the Finance Director.

As this business has grown without the controls that you would expect this role will require someone with both an excellent technical skill set but also a commercial awareness and appetite for problem solving.

You will be responsible for bringing the quality of financial controls and information reported up to date as well as managing a finance team of circa 10. You will also take responsibility for system improvement and recruitment.

As the business continues to develop you will be involved in profit improvement and developing a robust 5 year business planning which may include further acquisition.

This is a commercial role that will play a pivotal part in the company's success so will require someone with a good track record as well as proven people management skills. You will also need experience of change management and be qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA.

This is an exciting role for the right individual and will offer the chance for that individual to grow and progress as well as offering a good package including a basic salary of between £45000 - £50000, company car and bonus.
